How long does approval take?
Standard approval takes 5 days from the time we receive your complete application and underwriting documents. Restricted-vertical accounts may take longer if additional review is needed by the sponsor bank.
What documents do I need to apply?
Most accounts require: EIN letter, articles of incorporation, three months of recent processing statements (if applicable), three months of bank statements, voided check or bank letter, government-issued ID for principal owners, and proof of website (live URL with terms, privacy, refund policy, and contact info).
Restricted industries may need additional documentation such as licenses, supplier letters, or product COAs.
Do you accept high-risk industries?
Yes. We specialize in verticals other processors decline. Common approvals include peptides and research chemicals, CBD and hemp, supplements and nutraceuticals, telehealth, adult/entertainment, and dropshipping. We review on a case-by-case basis and provide a clear answer within 48 hours of submission.
What if I’ve been terminated by another processor?
That alone does not disqualify you. We review the underlying reason: chargeback ratios, compliance issues, or unrelated factors. Be upfront in your application; surprises during underwriting cost time. If you’re on the MATCH list, we’ll discuss remediation paths during review.
Fees & payouts
How does AsherPay price processing?
Pricing depends on your industry, volume, and risk profile. Most merchants are quoted on an interchange-plus model: pass-through interchange and assessments plus a transparent processing margin. Hidden tiered pricing is not how we operate.
When do I get paid?
Standard payouts settle within 1-3 business days. High-risk accounts may settle on a longer cycle (T+5 or weekly) depending on the underwriting decision. Your payout schedule is disclosed in your merchant agreement.
What is a reserve and do I need one?
A reserve holds a portion of your processing volume to cover potential chargebacks, refunds, or unsettled fees. It can be rolling (e.g., 5-10% held for 90 days) or capped at a fixed amount. Reserves are typical for new high-risk accounts and reduce or release as your processing history builds.
Are there setup fees or long-term contracts?
No setup fees and no long-term contracts. Standard accounts are month-to-month. Some restricted-vertical sponsor banks may require minimum terms or annual commitments; these are always disclosed before you sign.
Chargebacks & fraud
How do I dispute a chargeback?
Log in to the dashboard and open the dispute. You have until the deadline shown (typically 7-10 days from the chargeback date) to upload compelling evidence: signed proof of delivery, customer communications, refund policy acceptance, IP and AVS match, and photo of the product if shipped. Our team reviews and submits the response on your behalf.
What chargeback ratio is too high?
Visa flags merchants above 0.9% chargeback-to-transaction ratio. Mastercard’s ECM threshold is 1.5%. Once flagged, fines and remediation begin. AsherPay alerts you well before you approach the threshold and helps reduce chargebacks through 3D Secure, descriptor optimization, and dispute alerts.
What fraud tools are included?
Every account includes: 3D Secure 2.0 authentication, AVS and CVV matching, velocity rules, IP and device fingerprinting, BIN-country mismatch alerts, and chargeback prevention alerts (Ethoca, Verifi). Custom rules are available on Pro tiers.
Integration
How do I integrate AsherPay?
Three options: (1) Hosted Checkout, a redirect-based payment page that requires no code; (2) Drop-in elements that embed in your site with a few lines of JavaScript; (3) full REST API for custom flows. Documentation lives at asherpay.com/#developers and the dashboard provides test keys after approval.
Which platforms are supported?
Native plugins for WooCommerce, Shopify (custom payment app), BigCommerce, Magento, and WordPress. Most major shopping carts can connect via the REST API or Hosted Checkout. If your platform isn’t listed, the API works anywhere you can make HTTPS requests.
Do you support recurring billing and subscriptions?
Yes. Subscriptions, free trials, metered billing, and dunning are supported through the dashboard or via the API. Card account updater is included to keep saved cards current as they expire or are reissued.

How do I log in?
Sign in at payments.asherpay.com with the email on file. If you’ve forgotten your password, use the “Forgot password” link on the login page.
Where do I find statements and reports?
Monthly statements are emailed and also available in the dashboard under Reports. You can export transactions, deposits, fees, and chargebacks to CSV for any date range.
What are your support hours?
